JeanneP, mine that was similar to that never but turned solid green.  The leaves stayed yellow and green.

I think it is a variety of boxwood and think the name starts with "e" -  ernonymous or something like that.

Jean, it looks similar to a golden pothos or devil's ivy and might be in that family.

Jeanne Lee,  We used to post occasional garden photos in the Garden Forum.  Is that still allowed???

So far as I know, it wiil be OK.  Pat hasn't been feeling too well lately, but if she disagrees I'm sure she'll let us know.  :)

Sarah  04/28/2016 RIP

Patricia, can see Sarah had a happy home, so sorry for your loss.

Shirley

Oh, Patricia, I was ooh-ing & ah-ing over how pretty Sarah is and had not clicked in my head until Jack's post.... I am SO sorry.  How old was she?

I'm asleep on my feet tonight, only 5 hours sleep last night & got up about 5:00 am so can't think straight.  A special hug for you tonight, Patricia...

angelface555

She was somewhere between five and eight years Shirley.

She was very photogenic and you are a good photographer Angel.  Not easy with the black coat.
You do have happy memories to comfort you.
I was wondering about Karren's Frankie now.

Mary Ann

Patricia, thanks for the photos of Sarah.  As Bubble said, she was very photogenic.  I know you miss her.  RIP Sarah.

Dawn took in Frankie and Monte after Karren's death according to Karren's Facebook page. I don't know what happened or will happen to their house.

Thanks for all the mentions of Sarah. I still constantly look for her when doing things like a type of muscle memory.

Lindancer

Patricia, what beautiful pictures of Sarah. So happy to see them posted.  My thoughts are still with you.

Thanks for telling me, Angel.  I thought that Monte would go to his father, but I am sure it is better for him to be in a surrounding he is used to.
Have you met Dawn?

JeanneP

That cat just loved to pose.  Now it seems to have such a small head for a big Body. Is that normal are is it just over weight.
JeanneP

angelface555

you're welcome Bubble. I've never met Dawn in person, only through Karren's tales and photos and Dawn and her son's comments on Karren's old Facebook page.

Jeanne, it didn't pose, that was just natural. Sarah had lots of hair and underneath she was tiny. Even her paws had little tufts of hair.

I've had some changes since Farrah came here and she still spends most of her time under something, the bed, the couch blanket or the table. But as time goes by she is becoming more confident and aware of her surroundings.

Is the couch getting lumpy?

Whose little head is that?

angelface555

Foiled! I'm not going to fit under here!

This isn't bad. I'm keeping an eye on her, though!

angelface555

I'm watching you!

Still watching....!

angelface555

Farrah reminds me of Beau who died in 2011 after 12 years.

Looks like she has made herself at home.

Mary Ann

Patricia, Farrah resembles  Kendrick, Annie's cat who lives with me.  It is the stripes because Kendrick is part Bengal and an orange cat.  His stripes on his legs match.  Kendrick also has hiding places but I usually can see him.  Makes me think, I let him out on the deck and he may still be there!

Thanks for photo of your cats, they were all beautiful.  Kendrick, will be loveing you within the week.  Gloriade

Patricia, thanks for the pictures. Farrah is a little beauty. She has what I consider a "baby" face..so sweet and innocent looking. She is irresistible.  I am so glad you chose her...or did she choose you ?
As long as we are here, let's dance.

Thanks for all the comments. I know everyone is not an animal lover, but like Gloria's Taffy, they love you back unconditionally.

Beau was part Abyssinian, that gave him the cream color, ruff and large stocky body, and mixed with tabby. I wonder if Farrah has some of the same lineage?

MaryAnn, perhaps Kendrick as well if he has a stocky body, ruff and similar coloring?

June, thank you. The baby face is what is deemed an "apple head" in some cat circles as opposed to Sarah's triangular one. Actually neither of us chose the other. The cat rescue called because Farrah was another one like Sarah, cast out into the woods and behaving aggressive toward other animals and a lively three year old in the foster home she was in.  So they called and asked because Sarah's situation had been so similar. Here is a stock photo of some purebred Abyssinians.

Mary Ann

Patricia, I could believe Kendrick is part Abyssinian, but we know he is part Bengal.  The Abyssinian ears are larger than his.  He is a long cat.  I'll send you a picture when I have time.  Tom and I are meeting Terry and Jan in Holland to view the tulips - the festival is on now.  We're going to eat there.
