Lindancer  The right click was just for the way the photo was just posted.   JeanneLee took care of it.

"Ducky goes where I go!"

"What?"

jackwv

    "Ducky goes where I go!"

and we both go wherever we want !!!

Great photos and story line.

FlaJean

I enjoyed your photos, Patricia.  Farrah (spelling?) is a real cutie.

Shirley

Love the photos & action, I knew it wouldn't take long for Farrah to shine in your care, Patricia!  None of my cats go into a sack or box.  Only Tom will play with a ball, no other toys (even though I keep a box of toys for them in the family room.)

Sachiko, your veggies look wonderful!  So nice he enjoys growing and gardening and that you take such great photos to share with us.

Gloria, my neighbors are totally frustrated with hungry rabbits in their garden. I am NOT adopting rabbits!  Taffy is very pretty... a lot like the mother of Tom & Tiger.  Time for me to feed everyone so Tom & Tiger will go out, Mama Callie will get out of my garage (she stays in there most of the time except when I walk them down to the river, she follows me down as well as Tom & Tiger... and comes right back up with me.)  Tommy2 will be waiting out front for me to bring his supper as well.  We have this understanding... has nice manners, he waits until I am inside and if I don't put his meal in a separate dish, he will wait until Callie is finished eating before he starts.  Sometimes I don't see him so don't leave his food (people walking dogs will let them come clean up the cats food).....when I look out the window after getting back in, I have to go serve him.

Sachiko3

Good morning!

JeanneP, Lindancer, Shirley, thank you very much for your comments.
My husband is going to make salad, pickles with these vegetables. It is delicious to stirfly eggplant with butter. It rains, and Fukuyama is cool today.

Sachiko3

angelface, I enjoyed your photos! Your story is wonderful. Your story matches your each photo well.

Lindancer

Patricia, enjoyed the photos and comments Beautiful kitty.  My last cat Toby, who I had to put down only 4 years old, he had stomach CA was the smartest one I ever had, my husband would say to him, set in the corner if you want cookies, and he would go and wait for his treats, or he would say: you want to be brushed, well go lay on the bed.
The only smart thing Taffy, does is try to get me to go to bed around 10, I say are you ready to go to bed, and she does run into the bed room and jump on the bed.

I don't know what I did wrong, but was not able to post a picture. I have to wait for Rima to come home, she is in Virg. right now.

My husband went to our vegetables garden and harvested vegetables so much this morning.
They are eggplants, tomatoes, cucumber, green pepper, sweet corns, carrots, edamame beans.

Sachiko3

I boiled them after I peeled each corn shuck. It was sweet and was very delicious.

JaneS

Good Morning Sachiko,  Your vegetables look delicious!  They are always best when we grow them ourselves.  The corn is the kind we call "butter and sugar" over here.  It has both white corn kernels and yellow sweet corn kernels.  It's my favorite!  Enjoy your bounty.

JaneS, thank you very much for your comment!
I thank for bounty and enjoy the crop which my husband planted.

Sachiko3

I took off green soybeans from branches and boiled them afterwards. The bean is soft, and these are very delicious, too.

FlaJean

I love vegetables and yours look delicious, Sachiko.  We no longer have vegetable gardens but only have flower gardens now.

Sachiko, I am looking at your photos and drooling. Such bounty is wonderful and it is so much better for you. Enjoy!

Sachiko3

Jean, angelface, thank you very much for your comments.
This is our kitchen garden and isn't wide like a field. It's above all that these are fresh.
This field is wide, even if my husband plants it so much, we can't eat, so the part is lent to 3 people.

Jean, please show me a photo of your flower garden.

Shirley

Sachiko, the photos you take of the veggies are as beautiful as the veggies, you & your husband make a great team!  My father always had a garden and delighted in growing things we did not see in the stores (back in the olden days!  ;)  )  Now those veggies he grew are "in" and known to be very healthy, such as sweet potatoes, kale, broccoli.  His tomatoes were huge, almost plate size.  He also grew more than we could eat and would share with others.  We see a lot of soy bean fields here but I didn't realize they could be cooked like that.  They are very good for us, right?

Lindancer

Sachiko, your vegetables photos, look like you could just take them off the plate.  I love corn,

I will try to send another photo, of my back yard.  Well that one did not go through,  Will try one of my grandmother, when she was 16

Linedancer, that picture of your grandmother was really nice.  When I clicked on the little photo I got a lovely big photograph.

angelface555

Gloria, what a lovely photo of your grandmother at sixteen! These are so nice to have, aren't they? A cousin sent me a CD filled with photos from my maternal side of the family, and it has several of my maternal grandparents at different times. I knew my grandfather when he was quite old, an Irish man of five foot seven with strong beliefs. Looking at the photos of him as a youth, made me realize how handsome he was.

jackwv

Gloria, a wonderful photo.  Nice pose, wonder if she ever used the swing.

JeanneP

Shirley.  I don't believe that the So beans that Sachiko is showing are the same that we grow here in the US.  Sort of like the Corn. Just one kind is edible. another is Pop Corn I think  and the rest is Field corn.
I learned that the hard way. Thought I could sneak into the farmers land and pick some of his corn for dinner . Family laughed as it was hard as pebbles.

Thank you Jack, FlaJean and Patricia for the nice compliments. I am short like she was, my grandfather was 6ft. so they were a perfec 10, when they stood side by side. ;)
She had beautiful eyes everyone said.

Jack, that picture was taken in the Ideal Hour Estate ball room.
Her father was gate keeper there.
It is now Dowling College.        That picture is old, as I am 92

Back to Oglebay, I checked the speedometer, it is 4 miles from my home.

I tossed out some old bread that I let dry.   There were 3 deer, but had Jessie in the SUV.  Had the camera and took two quick photos.  The first was just 6 feet away and on the second believe she was going to lick the camera.

Here is Jessie under a trellis probably left up from a wedding.

Mary Ann

Gloria D, what a beautiful picture of  your grandmother.  I have a picture of my great-grandmother seated in a beautiful wicker chair.  I don't know how old she was, but the picture was taken in the US so she was older than 16.

Jack, Jessie looks as if she's waiting for the groom.

Gloria - I really like that picture of your grandmother . . . she was a very pretty young lady.  I wonder if you know the date that the photo was taken?  I noticed the dark colored bracelets she's wearing on each wrist. I'm curious as to what they were made of?

Jack - That deer is really tame, to come right up to you!

jackwv

Mary Ann good thought, but she was just waiting to continue the walk.

Marilyn, Lots of deer in the park, an attraction for visitors.  If not too many people around they will walk up to take food from your mouth.  I prefer to put the food on the ground.
