Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

I'm not feeling that good right now as the barometric pressure is all over the place, dragging my sinuses along with it; but I did get all seven PSP lessons finished and I'm just going to post one here and then go to bed . Here is #07 We've gotten more into using Arithmetic thus week.

Gloria

As always I am amazed at some of the backgrounds and wonder what filters were used. Of course if you remember I love frames and you both have some I would love to do.

Thank you Gloria, we miss you and  your PSP as well!

Bubble, you know the basics of arithmetic, add, subtract, multiply and divide? That is all it is in PSP. It is important how you list the graphics, the one listed first is the one you're doing the action to and the second one listed has the elements you're using to change in the first graphic.

Using masks is a prime example, or another is changing a layer by blend mode or opacity. Or taking a solid color graphic and using that color to change something on the first graphic, such as a gold color for the sky or perhaps blue for water. You control the percentages used and where.

I sent you an email.

so_P_bubble

Thanks for the mail.  Too complicated for me: I do all in touch and go, try, erase, try again. It works well for me.
I'll leave arithmetic for maths.

angelface555

Oh well, I suppose it is like me and some of the complicated tuts I've tried. I always seem to go back to my blends or taking some lesson. We each do what suits us best.
