from 12 to 3, after lunch,  they have a 'siesta time', sleeping on small mattresses on the floor. Parents have to come and collect them until 4.00pm

No, Aviv was quiet, but from age 10 he cannot stop! He has to enter all conversation even when it does not concern him and adds his grain of salt. He knows everything about everything and will argue no end to prove it. It annoys me dearly when it is at the dinner table...

Freezing rain and ice out there, the same for days, and people have been asked to be extra careful outside. It's presently thirty-five, with an expected low of thirty. Yesterday had an expected high of 34 and ended up at forty-one with a low of thirty-seven.
