Normally you should be abel to see the farm clear as a bell, but due to the fires north of us you can't.

Rick, the smoke got worse as the day passed on. I feel sorry for those closer to the fires ,can't imagine how they are coping with the smoke.

Amy - In the recent past the smoke has made it to here. Both visible and smell.
I hope they get the rain they need to help control those fires.

Rick, one can only hope the rains help control the fires. Just hope no lightning  strikes start any more.

Amy, nice photos! When I was walking to and from work back when I was employed, I had numerous sightings and interactions with wildlife. People were always amazed, but it wasn't me doing anything special. I wasn't speeding along in a car, but walking along the bike paths, so I was in a slower more open space.

Bubble ,that is the sight of true relaxation. Jess will sleep that way at times. I  wish all animals had such an easy life.    :thumbup:

The people in the photos are me, my daughter and Cooper's mother (my granddaughter!  I think everyone will be able to tell who is the oldest, who is the youngest and who's in the middle!

Jane, its finally nice to "meet" Cooper after all this time! I was surprised by the photo of you with him as in that one he looks exactly like one of a pair of dogs my older sister had many years ago. She called hers Baby and his blonde and white sister was Honey. I swear Baby never grew out of his puppyhood, he was so spoiled, but he was such a charmer. His sister, Honey, treated him as her puppy.

Wonderful pictures and it's so nice to meet people we've heard so much about! You have a lovely family!

How delightful to see COOPER, his mommy and grandma. Cooper looks nothing at all like I had him pictured.....he is adorable❣️ I had him a solid dark color and bigger‼️  Your daughter and granddaughter are both beautiful ladies.

AMY, such nice pictures you shared as well. I wish I could visit your area and see where you live in person and watch Kyle build his special Griggs‼️ Loved seeing your chickens also.

To all who shared their frightening stories about chicken attacks.....guess my dream of having chickens is a blessing that I do not‼️  One time while visiting a family farm I watched a chicken get his neck rung.....I was SHOCKED to see how long he ran around with blood flying EVERYWHERE before he succumbed to his death.  I could hardly even taste a bite of him after watching the whole ordeal.  A friend here has chickens and they grew up from chicks around her little children and none of them are mean🤷�♀️ The little girl still carries them around just like she did when they were babies. 

Patricia, your pictures are so pretty of the countryside.  Alaska, the Dakotas and Minnesota are the only 3 states I have left to see of the 50!  One day I WILL see them👍

Thank you Bubble for posting these.  Your flowers are beautiful.

Thank you all for the compliments!  I told Frankie that you all think she pretty and she blushed!  We are a very close-knit family.  We even feel close with Cindy and family who are in Okla.
