Beautiful Photo Gloria.

That is what we were asking for. Photo's of us in our Younger days. Seems like that is what was done. Enjoyed it.
We can't have Forums all seperated up . Opening in one for maybe just a couple postings.  Not enough people get involved posting now. I am happy with what ever the forum shows are talks about.  On this one we can't just have it posting photo's or the one for Video's just doing them. Not enough people doing it.  Hopefully if we make things where more people get involved in doing things Like we have going in here. Right now we have one asking for things we Collect or have seen. At the moment it is asking for "Clocks" Now these we put in their own forums and Vote.
More people need to go into those files.

Good evening, thank you all so much, for nice comments.  I now look in a mirror and say what happen? I did make 92.

Lindancer - Such a beautiful young lady! I can still see that pretty face in your avatar.

Shirley

That is a gorgeous photo of you, Gloria D.... and you still have the same kind, gentle & pretty face to me.  I had one studio photo of me, taken my senior year for the year book (Senior Queen).... but other than that hardly any snapshots except in groups.  I really don't look in a mirror at "the whole me" face & am surprised when I see a photo of someone that doesn't look like the image in my head.  I'm never self conscious that way, guess that's why I don't like seeing my recent avatar every time I post... didn't mind the ones when I was a kid with a pet.

Still don't have the photos off my phone, didn't work the way my son thought.  It saved the message with attachments in the draft folder (in Yahoo on the cell).... but it didn't show up in the draft folder on the computer online.  Back to the drawing board!

JeanneP

Lindancer. Yes. You have still left you Pretty smile and looks.  We all wonder where the years went. Even at times feel young.

Gloria, lovely photos both then and now. You have a sweetness to your looks.

LINDANCER....
...you were a very stunning and beautiful young lady, and I can still see the same beautiful brimming smiling face in you now....

Lindancer, you could have competed with any of the famous actresses.  Gorgeous photo.
I loved the blouse too.

Lindancer

Again thank you all, for nice comments, I needed that to day, as i still have not found the lost hearing aid and my feet are so swollen I can hardly walk.
Beverly, I think you had a nice idea, to show pictures how  we looked then.  It made me go through my old, old pictures, just looking brought back so many memories, it really is a walk to memory land and to see how you all looked,  I have to say a good looking group.  My grand daughter put one of me when I was about 20 in facebook, I had my motorcycle duds on.
The avatar of me was taken early summer.

Hey!  We want to see you in your motorcycle duds too!

Wanted to get off the sad posts, tough few days.  I prefer viewing the "old" photos.  I have to get back a minute on Jessie.   I was using an on line firm - Chewy for her dog food, and called them requesting they close my account, did not like them having the credit card info and email address.  I told them I was always pleased with their service and might someday return.  Today there was a ring on the doorbell and a florist delivered a beautiful vase and live flowers.  The card was a sympathy card from Chewy.   I emailed my appreciation, a class act.  Here is a photo.

Shirley

That is amazing, Jack!  How long have you used them?  I'll have to tell Andy what good service you had, I never thought of buying dog/cat food online.  I know their dog is on a special diet and sure Jessie got the best, but I always appreciate that special personal caring business.  Beautiful flowers & such a nice gesture.

Beverly

Jack - Lovely flowers! How nice that they showed such appreciation for a loyal customer.

jackwv

Shirley and Beverly, I only dealt with them for about a year, hardly an old customer.   Had problems with another, will not name.   Have talked to several others that have used Chewy for pets, food and equipment etc.   I emailed them thanking them for the flowers and got a reply from another individual stating to call anytime, even if just to talk.   Hard to believe that kind of an organization exists anymore.

FlaJean

That's really unusual, Jack.  It's good to know there are still companies that care.  Beautiful flowers.

angelface555

Beautiful flowers Jack and wonderful company. I would agree, great customer service!

Mary Ann

Jack, how nice to Chewy to send you flowers.  I've never heard of that from a company, at least not a small company.  Beautiful bouquet.

What a nice thing to do.  use to remember when most businesses had people running them like that. Now they are so big. The arrangement looks just beautiful there. Nice idea is to keep something like that in there for special times.
Our pets where always like members of our family. Will keep memories for always. People who never like to have pets do not know what they are missing.

JACK....
...that was such a lovely gesture of your dogfood company CHEWY, now how many companies would think of a gesture like that? certainly none I could think of over here, ( UK ).....even our " Petplan " ( the most expensive on our market ) pet Insurance doesn't do that, yet if anything you would think that would be their number one policy towards their longterm paying customers when one phones to cancel...I have had all four dogs with Petplan throughout their full lives....

Shirley

That is surprising they are so kind since you've only dealt with them a year, Jack.  I'm impressed & will check them out.

so_P_bubble

Such a kind gesture from Chewy.  I am sure it touched your heart as it did us. This should serve as an example to follow for other companies...

Lindancer

Jack, the flowers look lovely.  What public relations.  I am telling my neighbor, as she vol. at Kent Animal Shelter. Still cool here, and also still very windy on Eastern Long Island.

How cute!
And they all have the same smile and eye shape.

FlaJean

JeanneP, what a nice family photo!

angelface555

There is definitely an obvious family resemblance! Nice looking as well!

jackwv

Had some visitors last night.  My son with his 170 pound Leonberger and their miniature dachshund, and their new 3 month Leonberger pup.   The pup is growing like a weed and in a year will also top 160 pounds.  They are a large but gentle breed.

so_P_bubble

You'll need a big room to be in with both of them! lol
Adorable pup. Is the St Bernard dog the same breed?

jackwv

Bubble the Leonbergers are a mix of St. Bernard, Newfoundland, and Great Pyrenees.   Too big for me and would hate to keep them in food.

Lindancer

Jack. they are beautiful dogs.  I know what it is like to have a large dog, as we had a beautiful Great Dane. The vet said we were luck to have her for 12 years.

JeanneP That is a beautiful family picture.
