Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Bubble, it was the eyebrows that gave it away for me!  ;)

Don, a pair of good pictures and one tragic but necessary one

Its good to see Bubble back out again!

Sandy

Great pictures of you and don,  Soapy!

This is not a great picture,  but I  can smile now!
Oh happy day!

Sandy

Our Don is much better looking.  Even had it been him just getting out of bed he had to much hair.
You are looking better now Bubble. Glad you go to go out Be nicer when the weather warms up. I know I will be more cheerful here.

SANDY....
....agree your set of dentures are looking good, now please, please....can I have your old set?.... I have two infected teeth - gums that need dealing with....

DON....
....not sure if the sight of that shelter - bunker is scary or reassuring...

angelface555

Jackie,  how goes it with Harry? Has he found a forever home? How are you doing re getting or not getting another dog?

Radioman34

Sandy that's a great picture; definitely suitable for framing

Vanilla-Jackie

ANGELFACE...
...I haven't seen nor heard anything about Harry, as I am rather housebound at the moment...I do still think about the little fellow....I still haven't ruled out on getting another dog sometime in the future...

so_P_bubble

Nice smiling face Sandy. But do you always have a hat on?   :D

Sandy

Soapy ...  I always wear a hat when I go out..   In the Winter to keep my head warm,  and in the Summer to keep the Sun off my face.

If you are dining alfresco where cats or pigeons abound, it would perhaps be advisable not to leave your meal unattended.

angelface555

Sandy, I love your hat!

Don, funny, we have ravens, hawks, and eagles here that would love to help you out with finishing that meal!  ::)

JeanneP

Sandy.  I also love hats. I like your summer one. I believe I have it. Looks like it have worked well for you. Keeping the sun off your face.  Not a wrinkle. That is a good photo. Make copies to frame for your children. They don't seem to keep framed pictures around their homes any more.  I do. Got them everywhere. Theirs they just put out on Facebook. Never to be found again.

Don.  That bird landing would have been it for me.  I remember going to the River Walk in San Antonia, Texas and having dinner along the river.  Hundreds of these birds flying around. I even had to go and buy a new shirt from them bombing me.
I am not one for eating outdoors anyplace. Just to many bugs.etc. specially here in Illinois in the Summer time.

Not wishing to compete with nature,s creatures we decided to eat indoors. This is what we were served even before they brought the menu

Radioman34

We of course shared a dessert

Wow, Don!  And after they brought the menu?  The dessert looks yummy, too.
Sue

P.S. Sandy, I love your summery straw hat!  It's very flattering.

jackwv

Don, would not need the menu, enough there for me and would be great to have a companion to share desert.

Lindancer

Don, great to see the two of you out and about.

When you use to go to McDonalds by the river in the summer to eat, we would have to fight the sea gulls.  If we ate in the car, they would look in the windshield and of course.

Don that reminds me of tapas, which are a wide variety of appetizers, or snacks, in Spanish cuisine.  They serve them in a restaurant/lounge here.

JeanneP

I would have not bothered with a menu. Fact would have gotten a doggy bag. Kidding. I don't have a dog.
Dessert looks good .was it cheese cake. Must be cold there. Bubble looks well warmly dressed. Kept your coats on in restaurant. They  keep them to hot here and  to warm in summer it seems.

DON, BUBBLE...
..a good selection of starters - nibbles, I agree, would be enough to fill my belly before the main course arrived...although I dont think my belly would say no to that piece of cheesecake...

Turkish coffee: after you dredge the silt from the bottom of the glass you're ready for an espresso chaser.

halkel

Don, I love Turkish coffee.  But that glass looks like you are drinking Chi (tea).  Turks served it in very small cups and you only really got a sip cause half of the cup was grounds.  But it was all you needed.

JeanneP

Don.  You seem to be dining well. Isn't that coffee really strong?  One thing I have never tasted is Coffee of any kind.  What is the tea like there.?

I just viewed Grand Haven at 5:15pm here. What a great shot of it. Not to dark and just shows one person still walking . Pop in and see it.
