Don, you and Bubble certainly made a big splash in more ways than in the water. My very best Congratulations to the two of you. For some reason, I am not surprised. A fellow doesn't make trips to the other side of the world for a plain old visit. God Bless you both !!!!!!!!
As long as we are here, let's dance.

jackwv

Don and Bubble, good wishes, and hope the water was warm.

Sandy

I just got home and I swear I only had one drink with dinner but I turned on my computer and saw a photo of Don and Bubble , Naked jumping into a lake.  Maybe my drink was stronger than I thought but. IF photo still there in the morning I will say.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH.  (Will check my computer again in the morning)

I'm another one that is not surprised at the news.  I am however, surprised at the both of you making such a scene on an international website and in public wherever that was.
I have no idea what is going to come up.  It's supposed to be a smiley face to show how pleased I am with the news.  But whatever happens there, please accept my congratulations!

What wonderful news to come into this morning.....usually I pick up on things very fast but not this time, have to admit I never expected it but.....so you finely decided to go public....  Sending the very warmest CONGRATULATIONS  BUBBLE AND DON....and what a splash the pair of you have made..... ;D

Assuming this is not a wind-up knowing both of you pranksters....otherwise I have fallen for this.." hook, line and sinker..."

Jeanne P, I know, what one drink does to ones imagination, you think you see two naked people you think you recognise holding hands jumping into a lake, then have to question whether you did or you didn't....
;D

Oh, Bubble!  (and Don, of course!)
I had no IDEA!  I thought you were kidding because the announcement was so funny and clever!
Sorry I was so stupid.  I really and truly am over the rainbow for you.
If you guys can be just one tenth as happy as Himself and I were, you will be blessed.
I married The Love Of My Life when I was 74 and he was 80!
We met when he and his wife and family moved next door in 1953.
We married in 2004!
So believe me, NO ONE is cheering louder for you two!
No One!
Love & hugs from MaryPage

DON and BUBBLE - I woke up very early this morning - much earlier than usual- and immediately turned on the Computer (which I usually do not do so early in the morning) and began singing "A blessing on your Head . . ."  And a moment later, I saw the photo of the two of you hand-in-hand, arms in the air, jumping into the water!  The only thing missing was the Bouquet for Bubble's left hand!!!

What a delightful way to wake up in the morning - to read the lovely news about a very special couple!  Your hearts have been connected for many years and this is absolutely a blessing for both of you and your families, as well as all Friends in these posts who have known you for many years!  I can't think of better news for the two of you!

Congratulations and much happiness together!!!

Shirley

I just got back tonight from a week of "Rocky Mountain High".... and feel like I'm hit with more altitude high.... I am truly happy for both of you & am sending best wishes & prayers for many years of happiness.  God Bless!  Actually, I am not a bit surprised & think it's a great idea,   :-*  speaking about that jump into the pool, of course!   :smitten: 8)

Sachiko3

Shirley, welcome back! Please tell me about Rocky Mountain High.

Sachiko3

My husband went to his vegetables garden and harvested eggplant, carrot, green pepper and Japanese radishe today.

The eggplant next to the Japanese radish grew too much.

Vanilla-Jackie

Sachiko, so much better when we grow our own....my other half used to grow vegetables in a public  allotment where we used to live...also had a small raised bed in our old back garden but was too shaded by the trees.....sadly no room to grow in our new back garden.....

I could eat one of hubby's carrots right now....I wonder how your Japanese radish compares in taste to our small round red radishes....

so_P_bubble

How strange Sachiko: the stem/head of your eggplant is dark as if burned.  Ours have a green stem and calyx.

They look delicious.  How did you prepare them?

Sachiko3

Vanilla-Jackie, bubble, thank you very much for your comments.
Cooking includes both the Japanese radish and the eggplant in various ways.
If the Japanese eggplant becomes ready to be eaten, it is the same as the fruit and becomes the color

Mary Ann

Sachiko, those vegetables look good enough to eat!  You arranged them so nice for the photograph.

Mary Ann

phyllis

Occasionally I find the white radishes here in the farmer's markets or the specialty food stores.  We call them daikon radishes.

The photos are good enough to be shown in culinary magazines.

I am wondering if what you call Japanese radish is similar to what we call horseradish, which is quite hot when ground to a paste...we would normally buy it ready and made up in jars....Link to homemade recipe...They do look rather similar...

You are very welcome Bubble!

This is for Larry and others who inquired about my mini greenhouse that is now a work in progress. If you look it up on Amazon, be sure to read the reviews and one reviewer's photos.

Gardman R687 4-Tier Mini Greenhouse, 27" Long x 18" Wide x 63" High

JeanneP

I have a 4 tier like that in the bath room that I could use and just put on of the bags that dry cleaning comes back to me with.  should work fine. May give it a try for Herbs.

Sachiko3

Mary Ann, phyllis, thank you very much for your comments.

phyllis, daikon ! This is the Japanese name!

Vanilla-Jackie, I know that Japanese radish is called horseradish.
