Photos Old and New

They were the same photo. I had put in one, saw the roof overhang, and deleted it to edit out the overhang. Then I posted what I thought was one photo. I came back, saw two, clicked quick edit, saw only one photo, and hit save. Only to have two show up. Another glitch.

I should have deleted and then opened a separate new post to show the one photo.

This afternoon, we had a taste of the new wing command at one of the air force bases. They sounded loud as if they were right in your face, and I know the gulls thought so! They were wheeling and shrieking the entire time, which I've never seen before.

All five army and airforce bases are beefing up where not too long ago they were talking about closing them. It reminded me of the cold war when troops were everywhere, and the GIs fought with the local boys for hometown girls and over who was going to be dating whom.

I have more cloud photos to share. They were lining up nicely in a row and in one shot, one of the clouds seems to be either hurrying or chasing the others.

For the end of school year, the teacher asked every pupil to bring a photo of "then" and one of this year. Aviv chose this one and asked me to add this appropriate equation/caption. Of course he thinks highly of himself.

What a cute photo.... and I thought he looked familiar. His expression has never changed, he seems to be very confident, right, Bubble?

Beautiful clouds Patricia.... and yes, I also grew up in one of those military type towns where the "locals" took a stand against the "uniforms". Nice bright red roof on that one building!

I love it, Patricia. Tried everything but my computer won't let me copy it to my desktop, I've tried everything I know how. I copy everything to my desktop so I know where to find it, now & then I clean it up so I have room for more. My sons think I'm crazy~~ I'll work on it. Thanks! It is way past my bedtime, my alarm goes off in less than 4 hours.

Shirley, you don't need to copy. Right click on it and tell it to save to desktop. It will go there without the copy.
I do exactly like you: send everything to desktop for easy find, and then move to the proper location it should go to.

Thank you BUBBLE for posting all the pictures. The first ones are where she grows them and it's way out in the middle of nowhere but they own the land out there and sometime will be building a home on that property but she's making good use of it right now. The last one is at the Farmers Market where she sells them and she does very well with that. She puts them in jars with water and yesterday we brought one home! The rest were all gone!

Love all the flowers, Jane (thanks to you & Bubble).... I whizzed thru before church but didn't have time to talk & GOT QUESTIONS, please. Is that really YOU with the white hair? I hate to insult you but I did a double-take when I saw it. Honestly, that is what I think I look like on my best days!!!! Seriously, same haircut & clothes. Not sure if we look that much alike in the face (I have to take my glasses off for the computer distance so not the best vision...I keep moving my head back & forth to focus to read or see computer. Anyway, I think you look younger than me.

I recognize the flowers except for the one patch of what looks almost like cosmos... but not quite sure. I've always loved cosmos, in fact, just about every flower she is growing were my mother's favorites as well so I would be going home with a whole big bouquet. Ali is a doll, isn't she?

Yep, SHIRLEY, that's me with the white hair and I think they did mention that there are cosmos growing in her garden. And yes, Ali is a DOLL, in looks and actions. She's sweetheart! And she gets it from her Mother!

We had quite a night, nearly dark & the last "kid" kept pumping it's wings & took off out of the nest right into the pool! Sure didn't know baby robins can swim but this one did a good job until I got out to pluck it out of the water. Of course it yelled & screamed for Mom & Dad to help so they were screaching at me as well. I put baby down on the grass carpet but it didn't have the strength or know how to fly UP to get where Mom & Dad were outside the fence. I came inside to give them a chance to talk to BabyRob but the kid wouldn't listen. I went out with some of the ground meat (nothing mixed in) but did put enough water in to make it slide down Baby's throat. Sure enough, Baby squatted down & opened mouth & swallowed down 3 big bites. Never have to worry about them choking, I've fed quite a few over the years and never lost a one. I worried it wouldn't be hungry enough to try to get out of the pool fence so lifted it up to the wooden rail & watched as Mom & Dad took over to try to get it high enough for the night. No sign of them (or feathers) this morning so hopefully all's well. Not sure whose baby that was in the tree but it waited such a long time for Mom or Dad to come lead it back to a dry spot!

Hope you are feeling okay, Bubble, and Covid didn't hit too hard.
