Thank you, Bubble and yes JACKIE, it is the original Philadelphia City Hall.  Their wedding was in the first Episcopal Church and the First Church built in the city of Philadelphia more than 200 years ago.  It was a gorgeous wedding and one that was meant to be!  They are a perfect couple!

Bubble, check PM, this time i got it...

MarsGal

My dad was from Philadelphia. He was High Episcopalian growing up and was part of the choir. Somewhere me or my sister have a picture of him in his choir gown. Too bad I can't remember which church, but St. Paul's sounds about right. On one of our trips to Philly, years ago, Sue and I got to visit Christ Church.

Today is another trip to the house. I really, really need to retrieve some dishes and glasses. I didn't go yesterday as I had intended. No matter, today is the day to put trash out, so better today than yesterday.

I thought I was going to get some help this week, but I guess the guys couldn't fit me in. They are one guy short after one of them packed up and took off to Louisiana with absolutely no notice to anyone. It is a shame: he was a good worker. Boss says he never quite got over his wife divorcing him, and then I guess the episode with his vehicle with all his tools in it got confiscated because he couldn't afford to pay for repairs already done.

I was also baptized and confirmed in the High Episcopalian Church. I used to scandalize my mother by saying if King Henry hadn't had a roving eye, we'd still be Catholic.

Amy, Patricia, Rick: bravo: you are true detectives!
Vanilla, yes this time was the right one: the snow under the car was the hint.

I am glad you all enjoyed it.

Amy

Bubble, thank you, that was fun.

Bubble, Bens back car lights are in reverse, he too could have sneaked out... ;)

so_P_bubble

Then how did he come in? I suppose he just forgot them on and it is the normal rear lights..

Car on driveway, lights off, got in car, reverse lights on, ready to reverse backwards, and out to to get up to mischief.....Of course i am referring to going out to do the robbery...rather than coming home after the robbery..
Any way, enough said " Rick " it wasn't our RICK was it? who was culprit..

patricia19

The reverse lights weren't on as it was snowflakes.

RAMMEL

The thief. ----- Actually it was me. I went out the back door and walked to the "job". Came home the same way.

I'd never make a good thief, all public areas and outside entrances in or out of this building are on camera. Plus, not only security views the tapes, but tenants with a TV can subscribe to the feed.

Even if I was "daring" and rappelled from my balcony, there is the main courthouse up and to my right and one of the police sub-stations below and across.

Vanilla-Jackie

Rick, and you left no footprints or tyre tracks, well-done..

Amy

Beautiful photos Bubble!!! I am going to do  a search on both flower and bird! Thank you for sharing.

We have a new lovely statue on the main square in the center of town. They put it next to the nymphaea pond.

patricia19

That might have been called "Introspection." It's a nice complement to the pond.

Here is Lynn, growing more active daily.
She is eating -with much gusto - pureed food and is almost crawling (in circle!) but to sitting yet.

Amy

Bubble, Lynn is beautful!!! What a happy baby. She looks to be full of giggles . Thank you for sharing. Give her a  hug for me please.
