It looks a lot like a Honeysuckle Azalea (Rhododendron Lutem) to me. It can get up over 12ft. Here is a photo of the common version. https://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/PlantFinder/FullImageDisplay.aspx?documentid=31663 Notice the similarity in the leaves and twiggy appearance like your photo.

MG, that is what Patricia's sister said also. I don't think the stamens were that long but will check when we go back again. The tree was just loaded with blooms and bees!!

This is a quilt I did for my friend..she just wasn't up to doing it so I said I would. Gosh, it started out as one pattern and I changed it to this pattern. We both liked it better this way.

Amy, I remember when you first showed photos and spoke of your trials with the original design pattern.

I like it this way as well. The combined colors are beautiful together!

Patricia,thank you. The original pattern did have a border around the panel and my friend and I thought it looked better with one.
Tome, thank you. I don't mind doing log cabins but this one was very trying! I can now pass it on to my friends daughter.

My whole family of children were home we took this picture.  The boy on the right is Phil and the girl on the other end is his twin sister, Christy.  They're the youngest.  The one next to Christy is Cindy.  She next in age and she's the one with her grandchildren and my 3 Greats.  That's me in the middle (as if you didn't know).  And the girl between me and my son is Cathy.  She's the oldest and the one who keeps an eye on me now.  Christy is the gardener.   And Cimdy is my mathematition!  Phil took us all to supper and his wife and daughter joined us!

Bubble, so cute, you can see that little mind working, exploring and learning! She very much reminds me of Aviv.

Those eyes!  Those lips!  What a beauty she is!    I can imagine the joy and happiness she has brought to you, and Illy and Aviv.
