No talk yet, but she says am-am am
(ima is mom in Hebrew). Ve-ve seems to be for Aviv.
She does wave "bye-bye" when going and she loves to clap her hands - that is the latest achievement. She was 9 months on June 10.

patricia19

She's telling her mom all about her day!

Amy

Patricia, good answer!!

Bubble, if she is standing at 9 months she will be walking/running at 1 year old!!

I think she will by next month, she already makes a few steps holding her mom's hand.

Amy

Looking out the kitchen window I saw this odd bird :)) Grabbing my tablet I hoped to get a photo but he had moved. :( He moved to here, can you find him? Look by the middle leg of the trug.

That's a Bird? I haven't decided whether it is a small fox or a cat.

JaneS

Even with a magnifying glass, my eyes are so bad that I can't tell what it is!  I'm interested!

Jane, MG is right....it is a fox kit. It went from under the trug to the culvert and peeked back at me!!!

Amy, how interesting! I would be forever peeking how with my cell at hand!

Amy

Patricia, I am peeking but so far no more sightings..

Probably, Mama, get off the phone and let's play!

Do you know who is on the left of Papa JoHn?

Roma this week!
The last is a famous shop selling only Pinocchio related items.

Lovely shots, Bubble. I always think, probably because Rome is so spread out and most photos focus on one close in shot of one particular ruin, that the ancient ruins are more spread out. This shot puts things in to perspective. Many of them are actually packed close together. Pinocchio was never a childhood favorite of my, but he was and is still quite famous. The last could be titled "Caught Red-handed". She looks rather enthusiastic about getting every last bit of sauce off her hand. Love it.

Amy

Beautiful photos Bubble, I especially  like the last one!! Lynn has grown!

Quote from: Amy on July 22, 2024, 06:44:53 AMBeautiful photos Bubble, I especially  like the last one!! Lynn has grown!

and she already had her first plane flight and a week in Rome at 10 months old.

Aviv had his first journey at 5 months old.

A family of globe trotters!

patricia19

A beautiful family, Bubble, with wonderful opportunities!

Illy, looks lovely and Lynn, adorable and alert.

Rome looks different, not the usual tourist depictions, but gives you a better understanding.

so_P_bubble

Aviv did not go to Rome but stayed with me (with the dog!). He will be on a short cruise to Greece next month with his mom and sis. That is a treat for being a good pupil at school. He is starting high school this year.

patricia19

Bubble, I am amazed! I know it's a tired old phase, but just yesterday, wasn't he only four? He's growing into a very handsome, well traveled young man. Do you think he will take after his uncle?

so_P_bubble

who knows? But there is no contact between them. My two children have stopped talking to each others a few years ago and they are so stubborn that they don't even want to hear about each other.
Pity, but I will not interfere or my health will suffer from the stress.

Amy

Bubble, I agree with Patricia! What a handsome young man he is!! Love his curls!

Bubble, I am very sorry. We have an older sister who's estranged from everyone else, and it's hard. Sometimes you just have to let go for your own health.

so_P_bubble

True Patricia. I keep in contact with both but keep my mouth tightly shut  and not sharing to avoid any conflict with me.
Tany and his new wife are expecting their first and enthusiastic as well as worrying about it. As if they were the first to become parents!

patricia19

Bubble, sometimes that is all you can do.

Having a child, especially your first, is both exciting and nerve racking. I wish them all the best.

so_P_bubble

Thanks. I am sure all will be OK. But it is hard to believe how they are encouraged to have that many tests so early. I never heard of ultra sound at 2 or 3 weeks time! and all tests cost  a fortune... I would think that saving all for when the baby is there would be better.  My opinion of course.

so_P_bubble

.

Amy

Bubble, is Lynn wondering ...do I eat or wear that???
 Another lovely photo!

I have to agree re: the tests. But then it may be the norm there.

Another lovely photo of Lynn! I'm going with indecisive, just one more bite or not. How is she with using a spoon?

so_P_bubble

Lynn eats with her hand, full fist in the mouth! The spoon is just for playing  or nibbling on it- empty.
