Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

She is truly lovely, MaryPage, I know she will do well at university!

Thank you Bubble for posting for MaryPage!

Marilyne

A beautiful young lady in a gorgeous dress!  Best wishes to Kiersten for success and happiness in her future.

Ciaobella

Mary Page, your Kiersten is absolutely lovely.  Good luck to her at college.

Thank you, Rammel, for the link and Bubble for posting.  I've never caught on to how to post a picture, so it is not so large are there instructions on how to make one smaller for posting? I'm enjoying seeing all the pictures and had no idea this was the place to go to see them.

Ciao for now~

Ciaobella, either Bubble or I will post for you if you would like photos resized and posted in the photos' discussion.

London is full of flowers at this time and I will share with you the photos I received from my son Tany.  I am jealous!

My other two grands

Aviv 13 and Lynn 19 months

Bubble, thank you and Tany for showing us, London's beautiful flowers and his two-month-old daughter. She is lovely!

And Lynn has grown, nineteen months have changed her, so much since we last saw her. Aviv has also changed, he's getting so close to his Bar Mitzvah. You can see his father in his face.

You have a family to be proud of.

so_P_bubble

Thanks!  Yes, family is growing and it is fun to see the difference, going through all the photos. Digital certainly makes it easy to collect plenty of them.

patricia19

It certainly does, and especially when families are very far apart, such as ours.

Israeli dog rescued from Rafah

This pup was stolen from Nir Oz on October 7. For over a year, her fate was unknown. Today it was revealed that IDF's elite Golani soldiers found the dog in Rafah and brought her back to Israel. She was scanned, identified by her microchip, and reunited with her owner, Rachel Dancig—the ex-wife of Alex, the Holocaust historian who was kidnapped and murdered in Gaza.

Bubble...
...who says miracles dont happen? well yes they do...welcome back home Billy...

patricia19

Bubble, I'm so glad she was found and returned to her family and very sorry, but not surprised, about Alex Dancig. Those people use religion to mask their greed, need for power and overall disregard for any human life, including their own so-called people.

The longest suspension bridge in Israel opens in Jerusalem

The bridge, measuring 202 meters long, breaks the Israeli record that stood until today at 80, and connects the Hinnom Valley to Mount Zion

so_P_bubble

The new bridge, located in the Jerusalem Walls National Park, connects between the slopes of the Hinnom Valley and Mount Zion. It is near the Agricultural Farm in the Hinnom Valley, which conducts ancient agricultural activities such as olive pressing and wine preparation. It is also close to the City of David National Park, the Jerusalem Food Truck Festival which is open until the end of August, the First Station Complex and the Sultan's Pool. The bridge is set to become a popular tourist attraction in the Capital.

"The new suspension bridge provides a unique tourist experience, offering panoramic views of different parts of the city.

Once upon a time, the name of the Ben Hinnom Valley was synonymous with hell (Gehenna). Today we find here lovely corners for tourism.
