The filters used in Frozen are from the program's art media filters.

KP6, used in Bridge,  is among the collection, "Kai's Power Tools special effects filters were once considered a must-have plug-in suite for Photoshop-compatible graphics software. In 1999, Corel bought Kai Krause's popular effects filters from MetaCreations and soon released a new set of effects under the title Procreate KPT Effects. Building on the classic special effects from KPT 5, KPT 6 and KPT 7, Corel added nine new filters to expand creativity. Later, Corel combined all the classic effects along with the new effects into one complete collectionâ€"The KPT Collectionâ€"with 24 filters in all. In time, The KPT Collection, a 32-bit plug-in, became a free download for PaintShop Pro owners."

Interested. I found that I had a KPT 24 filters on my PSP but could not use it because it asked for a code. When I tried to download the  'free'version, it said I had first to have PSPX7! I like my X2U too much to change.

angelface555

I have never understood Corel's version's numbering system. After PSP12U, it jumps to version3 and then to me an incomprehensible X number system. I have no idea where PSPX7 fits. Is that my PSP7 that came five versions after PSP12U or something else entirely?

angelface555

I'm slowly putting things back together. It may have been dlls, at least that is now my hypothesis. This graphic, Harbor,[attachimg=1] was created by using Andromedia and KPT Goo filters.

You are getting better and better. I am in awe. I love the foggy view.
I don't understand how to KPT :(

Your Sofia graphics, Spring, Sophisticated, et al. are very creatively produced! I wish I could do that!

It worked, it worked, it worked! I've got lift off! And filters too!  8)

I spoke too soon, as none of my Alien Eye Candy filters work. But since I plan to try reentering now that most of my filters work including MuRa Meister, with its tiling, as well as New Moon. This graphic is courtesy of the Nik Collection of filters and titled, Go back.

Made me think of Loth's wife that turned back...

angelface555

Thanks, that had five separate tubes in that blended graphic. I've found unfortunately similar to computers, that certain filters just do not play well with newer PSP versions. However, while I certainly did not care for this latest PSP2019 version of Corel's. I do like many of the improvements and offerings with PSP2018U.

I hope not!  :-[  I liked PSP12U, but when my CDs got too scratched, I didn't want to go the old versions website route. I do have Corel's later versions of 3,5, and 7. I just prefer the 2018 version. So many filters offered work with it but not with earlier versions. I have both the Topaz and the Ulead full collections that simply didn't work with any below version PSPX7. I didn't buy the PSP2019 version.

But then I don't often do the tuts as you have. I tend to veer off on my own too often for those.

angelface555

Thank you Bubble, for this tut, Gato

Very interesting feather and clever full moon reflection.
I think the owl would gain to be more foggy  to blend with the surrounding mood, what do you think?

Maybe I should try 18? I'll think about it...I never tried Topaz, but I did miss Ulead for a long time until I forgot about it.

Sweety12 is well done as is Terhatas, but the coloration, tubes, and sophistication of the latter are more pleasing for me. That is more a reflection of personal opinion rather than skill.

I know the owl is wrong. I should have looked for a smaller one with more white. I resized that owl more than once, but the coloring was wrong. I do not know if blurring would have helped an already lousy choice.

PSP2018 has a learning curve as it did with me skipping ahead five versions, but I can help with that, and there is so much more available and the filters and plugins not earlier allowed work seamlessly. For example, with workspaces, you have three, and your tubes can be cascaded in the same workplace or tabbed with each one its own screen. When you are working on a feature such as a shadow effect, you see it happening with the tube in real time. However, it doesn't take effect until you click enter.

Once you get over the new style, (It took me about eight days before I was comfortable); it becomes exciting with all the things you can do easily with the program. I would never want to go back. Now, for me, their newest version, 2019 is dogy. No one in my group seems to care for it either, and they keep lowering the price, so I don't think we're alone on our opinions.

I think I had to redo that textura five times until I got it right!
