Open Weave is so cute!

I fixed the palettes by reloading the whole program.
Mura meister is also finally fixed: I had it duplicated in two locations and that is probably why it would not work. Phewwww  I feel much better!

Gloria

BUBBLE  glad every thing is working again. Well I finally made up my mind, have Windows 10 set to download tonight. I think it is the version of 7 pro installed that is my problem and I am tired of the freezing on this darn machine.

I'm glad everyone's issues seem to be fixed and all the graphics are wonderful! I have a very busy day and a hospitalized mod so I might be in and out if at all.

If you remember your Lesson 38, Angel, you will realize that I really played around with this one.  Changed the image, changed the colors, re-sized and re-positioned the butterfly and reduced the opacity.  And added a Langston Hughes poem.  All of the effects are the ones that were called for in the tut plus the supplied brush so I'm hoping that my mod will pass it.   I had a lot of fun with it and just let myself go.

Looks very nice Phyllis.  I am sure you will pass with flying colors.

Phyllis, I had to go back and check my lesson! I would never have guessed! It's fun to see different interpretations! Since my mod is out due to being hospitalized to work on her leg, we have been assigned to BJ now. Her note to us was all business with no comforts as with Karen. I think it made us not as comfortable, but perhaps what we need?

I guess I will have to get back to Lesson 41.

Bubble, your graphics are great as usual, but I loved and had to laugh at Chained and the couple in the window!  ;D

BJ has been my mod from the beginning and she has been helpful and encouraging.  However, she did say at the very beginning that she doesn't work on weekends.  Frankly, I don't blame her for that.  She has been very lenient when I have changed things around and says she likes what I am doing.  As long as we get all of the effects in to the graphic that are called for in the tut I don't think they mind when we change things.

Thanks, Bubble.  Did you get everything back and working yet?  I finally was able to restore my Alien Skin Xenofex 2 yesterday.  It had been a very long time since I could open it at all.  I went digging way down in all my PSP information files and found the old Registration number.  When I re-installed Xen. and entered that number everything worked perfectly.  I can't believe I found that old reg. number from so many years ago.

Phyllis, have you finished lesson 41? I get to step 6 and it falls apart. It is supposed to be grey and I still have color. Here is a screenshot.

Marilyn

We returned from our trip yesterday and i am back to individual emails in all my group/.s we are going again thiscoming weekednd and I have a busy week ahead of me so probably won't get any creating done at all. I do havce to do some new graphics for my stationery groups though.

I've azdmired all your beautiful graphics  on the previous pages. Awesome work. on all.

Gloria I will send you the screen shots that you will need to make WLM work for your stationery. You will nedd to make the changes in Internet Explorer.

angelface555

Playing again while I wait to move further. The mask used in this and one other is called, vix mask.

so_P_bubble

angel, I sent you a mail.
I think it all depends on your choice of colors at the beginning.  Are they the same as in the tut? If they are not, you get different results.

Bubble, thank you! With your coaching, I was able to send that lesson in! I also sent in lessons 42 and 43.

Two new issues cropped up today. My eye candy prefixes no longer work with double clicking. But you can go into the filter, in settings and click manage at the bottom and then use import, a long way around.

Then my Tramages filter suddenly only showed one of the over 25 effects. I deleted it and re-downloaded and the same issue occurred. I put all of the effects into FFU2 where they now all work. I hope I'm good for awhile.... :P

I was unhappy with this as I didn't have a good tube I liked for this lesson, so it is rather blah with the tube I used.

Of course, I like both Muguet and Dreaming, but personal preference is with Dreaming. There is so much more work on Muguet, but the frame got me with Dreaming.

so_P_bubble

To tell the truth, I didn't like muguet at all.  I thought that woman looked stupid, but the pose was one I  wanted for it.
Tubes can be a nuisance at time.
I would have tried colorizing yours in light gray... might have worked.

Bubble, the first one, Blinds X3 was a cute tube and I thought Serenity was particularly well done and a great tube as well!

I miss Gloria and hope she is able to mesh with W10 and return to PSP.

I have yet to hear back from my new mod other than the introduction email, but Phyllis is fond of her and I was spoiled, I admit, by Karen's quick responses and friendly manner. Anyway, I sent in these last three. I liked my version of L44, but I couldn't find the right tube for L45 and L46 just didn't look right to me.

Anyway, judge for yourselves.

Angel, sorry I didn't respond to your question about Lesson 41.  I saw your Group email and guess you got it fixed with Bubble's help.  It looked good.

BJ will respond but perhaps not always immediately.  She has been dealing with a death in her family and that distracted her for a few days.  It doesn't bother me because I am not in a hurry to get through the lessons.  I prefer to take my time and play around with them before I turn them in for approval.  Yesterday I played a lot with Lesson 39.  I haven't a clue as to the technical theory behind the Sinedots effect but it sure is fun to play with.   I am blown away by the genius minds that can design such a thing and by the tutorial writer that knows how to use it and can pass it on to a learner.

Sorry you are having such a problem with Win10, Gloria.  I have decided that I am happy with Win 8.1 for now and I have finally gotten the settings customized to the way I like them so don't plan to make a change....at least, not yet!

Phyllis, wait until you reach Lesson 44, deceptively simple but so much fun! I liked 45 as well, just didn't have the right tube. That is 95% of the lessons, finding that "right"  tube!

I agree about the tut writers, it's a rare gift!

I remember you mentioning about BJ's uncle and now Karen is hospitalised for a leg operation so evidently BJ is getting slammed with Karen's students as well.

Gloria

Well my problems with 10 are over. After the whole week end trying to understand it and trying to get things where I am used to I uninstalled it with the help of my CNA this morning. That is what she has on her PC and she said mine looked a lot different from what she has. She couldn't understand mine either. I am back to 7pro and already had that blue screen show up already.  I will be calling HP again tomorrow. I thank Larry and Donklan for trying to help me. Now I should be able to sleep tonight at last.

JOAN  like you I am tired of all the news from Orlando. Too much of it.

CALLIE  Shrek was not my idea of a good movie. I have long past the fairy tale stories.

JOAN  wow hard to believe Molly is now out of high school. I bet Finlay has grown a lot since we last saw a photo of him.

JUNE  my daughter always refers to this moth as June gloom. Not much sun showing all month. I sure did lose sleep over the week end. I am worn out right now and will head to bed early. It was not the installation, that went fast, it was trying to understand it. I never in 85 years had so much trouble learning something new.

DON  some people seem to like 10 but I never had such a hard time trying to figure things out. It is nothing like we are used to with the other windows that we have used over the years. I started with 98 then XP. I still liked that one best.

PHYLLIS  it was cool and cloudy here all day. Sun came out when I started typing here but is gone again. Humidity is low and that I do like. Should be good sleeping tonight.

AMY  my CNA  said my version of 10 was different than hers. Instead of a back massage she helped me uninstall 10. Glad you enjoyed the potluck lunch.

PATRICIA  no graphics at all showed up in my email. I love making stationery and nothing showed except the text.
