Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

 Phyllis, I love what you've done! I got my computer and I'm in the midst of downloading all the items from all the clouds I put those items in for safe keeping. I did do one item with just a Luz download and the regular program features.

P.S. Did you notice how many of the Step monitors and Denise are involved with Winis?

Phyllis, sorry about the font: that title was in the tut I think and I don't have that font.  Yes, it is a nice one.
So that is who the pirate is? I didn't know!

I liked the ball creation although I would have 'creamed' muter that white spot. It made me imagine a ghost approaching. lol

Good one Angel.  I hope all is going smoothly with the new one.

Well, good news and bad. The good news is PSP12U is working very well, no snags or lagging and the filters are working on their own without filters unlimited so it was W10 that was the problem.

The cons are no "select all" which is beastly when you are transferring literally hundreds of files about the computer and this windows version is archaic in that most of my programs will not work unless I upgrade to at least 8.1 or higher. I received a pop up this morning saying "This computer will upgrade to W10 at 11pm on May 28th,"  but I went and turned off automatic upgrades, then receiving a very stern reminder of all that I would be missing otherwise.

Also, One Drive was empty, Amazon Cloud will not let me take anything out from what I put in and Dropbox is still trying to index files and folders. I suspect they are already wiping the drive of my old computer and I probably won't regain all of those Dropbox files either. Unfortunately, they were mainly programs, chiefly Paintshop pro. I redownloaded and placed so many filters yesterday!

Bubble, you are again amazing, but I will be back later and go further.

However, all that will be waiting when I purchase another computer this fall for all my other matters and needs. I need to go out this afternoon for OTL and groceries and bills but hope to get started on my lessons this weekend.

Gloria

I have been having a time trying to find out why since the tower came back from HP none of my stationery is showing up anymore. The only ones I have are a few that I did before the tower went back to HP. I have hundreds I did that I can no longer use and even new ones will not show up. I am really disgusted with thin computer,
I did doe a couple of tuts for here but have been so tired I have not posted them. Sorry.

I had made the decision to drop out of the PSP Group because I could not make Filters Unlimited work at all.  Couldn't import anything though I could use some of the filters that were already there.  I mentioned it in the Group and my Mod and another member sent me a fix.  What a relief!  I was really tearing my hair out and hated to leave the Group but just couldn't go through the frustration of trying to do the tuts without the proper plugins.

I remember when I made Stationery, Gloria, there were some settings that had to be a certain way before the stationery would show.  I'm sorry I don't remember what settings those were, however.  Can you find in your old stationery lessons something that tells you what settings to use?  It's been so long ago when I was making them that I can't remember much.  I enjoyed doing it but when I learned that some people that I emailed them to as a letter couldn't see them because their operating systems wouldn't handle them so I quit.

Phyllis, you did try the mini tut listed for when the Filters Unlimited button stops working? I tried it and now my button and filter work again. You were doing so well, you were my hero!

Bubble and Gloria, every one of your graphics is colorful, vibrant and Flowers For A Friend and Diamond Structure were particularly noteworthy!

I'm back doing lessons although I've often conflicted. In Wini's basic lessons, number 15, we learned how to make our own textures and do selections. In Wini's advanced classes, I did the first one of the second tier, #26, which I'm showing here.

Bubble, I didn't see the SweetScent of Roses before and it is my new favorite! Lovely! But then Masked Border is also a fan favorite!

Gloria, I like Diamond Structure - a little fog in the distance and that quiet frame. It's dreamy!

Great background, Angel but so vibrant! lol

Angel, as I said in my post above, I used the Filters Unlimited fix and now everything is working beautifully.  I'll turn in 3 more lessons tomorrow.

Phyllis, I did the same thing I do with some of the lessons and tuts. I didn't read carefully and missed what you were trying to say. That is really something I have to continually watch for.

I am so glad you are still taking classes as I really have enjoyed sharing this with you!

Thanks, Bubble! You should have seen the colors when I first used them on a new layer! I am learning so much in these lessons and really enjoying them! I've noticed many of the people from Steps and some of the other groups now involved in Wini as either students or mods.

I liked both Spring2 and Our First Spring, but the latter is my favorite, (And not just for the cats!  :D); the colors and composition really went well together!

what is the Filters Unlimited fix ?  I might need it one day!

My AAAfilters always crashed my PSP in this win10 but today I have finally found a version with patch and it is working.  Hurray!

angelface555

I am back on W10, I missed so many features and the W7 Professional had absolutely no select all! Not good when you have 1356 prefixes for alien skin alone that you have to double-click to install, or in my case reinstall into the programs! Also not counting my myriad other issues and files!

Bubble, Magic and Jessica are favorites! Magic was a bit busy, but,  everything went together well. Jessica was very well done and I liked the sinedots usage on the frame and I think on the background?

Adara was okay. I did not like the tube, but that was personal preference.

The following are approved lessons 27, 28, and 29. I've got a bit of a way to catch up with Phyllis.
