Good morning
Had a time trying to get into the site this morning..

We are in for it again up to 18 inches on top of the 12 we had the other day. I did get the wood piles covered so hope no mishaps again.

Picking up meds this morning ,then check out my dance partner to make sure he is up to the dance.

Phyllis, oh my a coat!! That is a lot of work but one of a kind and I bet it was not only beautiful but warm!!

Patricia, I am so ready for Spring. I know it also means more work but it means warmer weather too!

Rick, I can guarantee that there will be either a nap after the storm or early to bed for me. We do have lots of room to put the snow unlike others that didn't make their paths/driveway wide.

Jane,enjoy your day off...I am sure you will miss your little buddy today.

MG, it is 10° F here and the sky looks ominous. We didn't get that much snow last year so I think it is making up for it this year.

S&F has been slow for the past two days again. It's minus nine here with 30-35 mph wind gusts in the valley and in the passes, but it's supposed to warm back up again on Tuesday. That wind chill is worse than the actual temperatures.

It sounds as if everyone is having a snow day.

Hello Everyfriend! I had my cleaning ladies here today and I had to keep out of the way and be ready to jump up and find another place to sit when they got to the room I wa in. They finished before the snow began and I decided I better get a walk in before it started. I didn't make it! I got all my duds on and a lot of the stuff that I had moved for the cleaners back in place and I headed out....into snow coming down rapidly. Till I got back from half my walk, I was freezing and wet and I havent tried to go out since.

And it's still snowing and not supposed to stop until after 8 p.m. And it must have covered the TV reciever outside because I don't have any TV.

I made a new casserole for supper with chopped up chicken, chopped up potatoes, chees and lots of spices and it's terrific! I'll be saving this recipe for sure!

Good snowy morning..

No let up on the snow it seemscalling for it to snow until Mon. The dance shall begin after my tea.

Yesterday I was checking our SB out went to get the gas and noticed the neighbour our with his NEW snowblower. Gave him the thumbs up when I realized the make. We talked over the the fence I his other one gave up and he bought
almost the same as ours his is a Cub Cadet 26. He knows how much I love ours and I gave him a few pointers on using this compared to his other one. He is lucky that he can use the pull start where as I use the electric start.

MG, will send Jenny and tell her you are asking and she can fill you in on her surgery.

Jane, careful out walking, hope your area is plowed.

Kyle came over to my desk and said there was a flashing light in our driveway...looking out I saw our neighbour with his plow truck cleaning the driveway and out at the mouth of the driveway. I just have to do the sides, deck and out back to the wood and a trail for Jesse!! Got love neighbours like that.

Duds on...
Need ear muffs
Need energy....
Oh well two out of three is not bad..

Thanks, Amy. I had congenital cataracts and ended up getting the surgery when I was 45. The ophthalmologist, at the time, told me that my eyes were bad enough that he should be reporting it to the DMV. He didn't, but the threat made me not hesitate to get it done. I was absolutely amazed at the difference, not just in clearer seeing, but in the colors. One of the first things I noticed after surgery was that, before surgery, I had lost seeing much of the yellows. And, I was absolutely amazed at the number of different shades of green there are.

The snow and ice are off the roadways now, and just a thin layer on some cars and the grassy areas. The temp is at 34^o and will top off at around 40^o. It will be raining most of the day, so I am quite happy to see it above freezing.

Well, the snow hasn't stopped!! I am contemplating going back out and cleaning it up again. If I leave it there will be a lot to do but little bits make it easier. SB is gassed and ready again.

Bubble,, when was the last time Jerusalem had snow?? Maybe what we are getting is yours.

Good mid-morning, everyone. It seems we haven't had any real snow since perhaps November. Each new snow we've had, ends up as ice after icy rains, a new phenomenon this winter. We're back into the positives for the rest of February, with March more of the same.

Nothing new here, and even that's not new. Morning routines and meet and greets finished, but I need to make coffee as had a late start. The guy below me has come in this week and immediately plays his radio at the highest level he can find. I've already sent in two complaint forms, but doubt management will do anything.

So, I've been in a foul mood the past few days.

Cleaned the snow up again about 6 inches more in other areas that drifted. I wont cry if I don't have to do it again tomorrow! Oh my gosh, neighbour is plowing us out again! I knew we had more but dancing twice in one day is enough for me.
The snow is up to my waist doing the trails for the dog.

My word Amy - but then I guess it is only the middle of February and snow would be heavy - glad you have your sewing to break you day

Love the advise to do a bit of in-house trekking... Problem I'd chicken out afraid he would make it worse...

I think I would more likely start with attempting a kindness maneuver like baking some brownies, bringing them down and ask if he would be a good neighbor and lower his music especially mid afternoon when I'm napping and after 8:00 when I'm trying to watch a bit of TV before I go to bed at 9:30. If he complies I'd leave him a thank you note with some cookies hanging from his door handle. It'll be interesting to hear how Patricia handles it -

Wasn't going to watch TV at all tonight - usual is Sunday night PBS - 'Best laid schemes o' mice an' men' - I just couldn't resist All Creatures Great and Small and of course once on I stayed with it watching each show including of all things a new detective type all in French - With so many from Louisiana who stayed after Katrina that was a no brainier.

Mostly sunny tomorrow with even higher temps and so my furnace should not be fighting with itself but then Tuesday it supposed to pour down rain all day.

Good NOT SNOWING morning..

I think all I have to do is tidy up the area and do the front deck, We like to keep areas open incase I need to call an ambulance.

Today is coast after tiding up, coast just may include sewing

Barb, when one gets past "the work" of snow one can also see the beauty of it. Everything is so pretty,with pines dressed in white lace. Snow drifts with sharp edges formed by the wind just beautiful!

Patricia, maybe he doesn't realize how much his sound travels?

Good Morning Everyfriend! And this morning really is a better one than yesterday! Night before last was a bad night! I couldn't sleep and ended up on the couch with blankets all over me and a very sore throat. Yesterday wasn't a particularly good day but today started of well.

I'm having breakfast with all of you. No Cooper today! They had worse weather in Maryland so Frankie called off work and is going to try to make it home today!

AMY, you have a LOT of snow but you also have a good neighbor! That's so nice of him!

I have some things planned to do today. I don't know what will get done. Cathy and I have a a couple of errands to run but she doesn't usually come until right after lunch so the morning is mine! I wish you all a great day! Do whatever suits your fancy! And let us know what that was!

Good morning, zero presently, but it's back in the positives for the rest of February and March as we transition.

Rick, that was Barb with the brownie suggestions. Barb, this man has many issues. Management has been trying to evict, but evidently must take care due to those issues. Yesterday, there wasn't a sound, so perhaps he received a notice of intent? I'm hoping this is the end of it. He is not a nice or well liked man.

Today and yesterday have been busy, but I've gotten a lot of little things done that were beginning to add up.

Amy, no real snow here, every time it snows, it rains so more ice than snow out there. I cannot believe your snow!

It's a dry, not a wet climate here, so we usually don't see that much snow anyway. March is probably our snowiest month as temperatures warm and humidity returns, but if the weather forecasts hold, we won't see snow in March this year.

[/b]Cathy and I had 3 places to go today and we found out that two of them were closed due to Presidents Day Celebration. Sw we're going to try those two tomorrow. That'll be my afternoon trip. And Cooper and Frankie made it home today so I'll have company tomorrow.

I'm heading off to bed as soon as I close down here. This darn thing locked earlier so I just turned it off and left it rest a bit and here it is...back on and working. Do you think it missed me?

Chilly start to the day with a temp of -2° F...on the up side no new snow! Yet.

Will see how the day goes after picking up meds and a few groceries. I know what should be done, but it just may not get done. The work is outside so we shall see as the day goes.

Unfortunately Rick, the post in Norm's was a totally different one. After thinking about it, I posted in here then saw a couple of errors, so I corrected them and when I reposted it was taking a long time, but I thought sure it was there🤷 Thank you Rick. It was one of myvway too long posts that acknowledged just about every one.

MARS, I thanked you in my "lost post" for asking about my cataract surgery. It went very well and I am amazed at how clear and colorful everything is, just as everyone says❗️ I chose a higher package that I have to pay just over 3K for each eye above what Medicare pays. I have astigmatism in both eyes and this special lens corrects that for me. In addition my eye was done with laser and I was told the healing time is less due to this. I went in the following morning for my check and the doc told me it looks perfect and there is very little swelling so I could cancel the one week follow up appointment. My second eye is scheduled for day after tomorrow, the 20th and I cannot wait to get it done.

Sadly, I don't really remember all the details of what else I posted that was lost, but I tried to address most of you and that is why I was sorry to not see my post😩😩
