Long day! While chatting with the neighbour 5 trumpeter swans flew over! So nice to see and hear them!

Sorry I didn't get back today.  I got busy in the kitchen and I just plain didn't get back.  Cathy stopped by and I told her I had two keys stuck together and she fixed it.  You'll never guess what she did to fix it!  There a was a little scrap of some kind of food down there and it was sticking the two keeps together.  I just plain couldn't see it!  But her eyes are still good!  Thank goodness for that! 

Now I'm heading for the haystack!  I'm tired right down to my toenails but I don't have to get up to meet Cooper.  His mom has the day off and they're spending it together!  I might be making a trip to Wal-Mart with Cathy tomorrow.  I have a list and so does she! 

Sleep well everyone and wake refreshed.  See you in the morning!

Good morning...

Another amazing day for this time of year, heading into the low 70's.

Domestic duties will be  on the agenda this morning then maybe sew??
I tried a new recipe for super and will post it.Made a lot for us,I put it in one casserole  dish plus a 4x6 tin foil container. That one I took to the neighbour to try. We both (houses) enjoyed it. Next time it will be put into the tin foil containers and frozen .

Patricia is having computer problems .

Good Morning Everyfriend! and a special Good Morning to the one who beat me here.  Hi AMY!

I got up at my leisure, had my breakfast in my jammies and then made the bed, got dressed, and went for my morning walk (without Cooper).  Frankie did say she might be over sometime this afternoon to give him a bath so he's all clean for me when she leaves on vacation on Friday! 

Cathy and I are doing a WM shopping trip later.  She has an appointment at 9:30 and she's coming over after that.  Don't know how long it will take us!  In the meantime, I have to pack up all the taters I cooked yesterday in dinner size packs and freeze them.  Also make a casserole for supper and cook some hamburger to add to Cooper's dinners!  Sounds like it's going to be a busy day.  I wish you all a good day...better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow.  Be sure to stop by and let us know how you did that!  We're the nosy type!

Hi there friends!  I had an interesting phone call tonight.  My phone rang but only twice but it told me it was LLoyd Hammond calling.  So I called back.  It was just an accident on his part but we had a nice chat.  I talked to him for a bit and then Nancy came on.  She said he got a new computer and he can't figure out how to get on S&F to vist with us.  He also said to tell you all he says "HI" and he also misses you.  I don't know how to tell him to get on but I told Nancy to see if their daughter could help him find his way in.

Now I'm ready for bed because Cooper will be an early arrival again tomorrow.  I wish you all a peaceful night's sleep and a happy tomorrow.  Spend it any way you like.  It's yours!

Thanks RICK for the way to get Lloyd back in.  I'll see what I can do about getting it to him.  I think I might have his granddaughter's email address somewhere.  She has emailed to thank me for helping him and to ask some questions but it's been a while.

AMT, have a good trip to town and good news from the appointments!

Cooper and I have had our walk and its COLD out there.  He took a long one...did both circles!  I guess he was ready to stretch his legs! 

Cathy and I are going to make a trip to the Farmers Market later today.  I need some broccoli and cauliflower and then I'm ready for winter.  My freezer said, "No more stuff" when I checked it out.  It's ready for me to start using whats in there and stop putting new stuff in.  But the veggies will go with some dinners that are already in there and have a space left!

Now I better get busy.  Have a good day Everyfriend!  And tell us how you did that.  Remember, we're nosy!

We came back blurry eyed . :) Both needing new glasses and Kyle is getting new hearingh aids. We had a van load with our items and the neighbours.

Whoops!  I see AMY already sent LLOYD the info on how to get in to visit with us.  So I won't confuse him!  I hope he finds us!

We didn't go to the Farmers Market today.  Just plain didn't have time and now I'm ready to burrow into the haystack and close my eyes.  I was going to take a nap but I took a walk insteac.  Now I'm redy to sleep.  So

Good Morning AMY and anyone else who shows up today.  I'm waiting for the sun to come up so Cooper can take me for a walk!  He's had his breakfast and he is waiting patiently.  I think he's figured out that we don't go until light shows in the windows.  I suspect he'll be in to tell me when it's time.

I don't have any real plans for today but I'm sure something will come up.  I do have some broccoli in the fridge that needs to be cooked and can be added to the dinners in the freezer.  I think that might be number 2 on the agenda after the walk.

I hope you all have a good day!  Do whatever suits your fancy!  It's your choice!  Make it a good one for YOU!

good Morning!  Cooper is here and he had his breakfast.  Now he's waiting for daylight and his first walk of the day.  I already have a load of laundry in the washer.  I told Frankie that I would be doing laundry today and if she has anything she's going to need to take on her trip or right away when she comes home, I'd be happy to do it for her.  Her first load is in the washer.

I've lost an ear!  That's what I get for taking the aids out when they beep for batteries and just laying them down somewhere!  When Cathy drops by today, I'm going to put her on a search.  If she doesn't find it, I'll be calling the ear dr. to see how much it will cast to replace it!  Doggone it!  I'm just not very careful!

We started the day at 33 degrees so we're running 10 behind you, AMY!  Our high is supposed to make it to 63 around 4 p.m. and then start back down for the night!  I do think we are on the way to cold.

I just heard the washer stop.  I guess I better go put that load in the dryer and another one in the washer,  Gave a great day, everyone!  Do whatever suits your fancy....or whatever is yelling for attention!

I'm ready to hit the hay!  It's been a busy day!  I got everything done and I sat down to watch some TV and I couldn't keep my eyes open.  Cooper has had his yard walk and I'm in my jammies and I have a couple things to finish up and I'm off to the haystack!

We had rain during the night  with more later today. Starting temp is 38 ° heading to 47°.
Work around home today .

The sun arose a few minutes ago; it is 51o. I've got a fairly ambitious day ahead. The major events are laundry, dishes, and this afternoon, planting narcissus.

Yesterday afternoon I went to my new eye doctor for my yearly eye exam and to order new eyeglasses. That took two and a half hours. You can guess where most of that time was spent. The waiting room.

Have a super Saturday everyone.

Good Morning Everyfriend!  the temp here right now is 50 degrees heading for a high of 61!  not too bad!  The low was only 44.

Cooper and I have had breakfast and a stroll in the yard and a real walk around the block.  We're back and I've cleaned up the kitchen, he finished his leftovers from breakfast and now he's napping and I'm visiting.  AMY, Cooper slept well and didn't try to get up until he knew I was up and attem!

I have a bit of cleaning to do later and I'm wondering if any of the neighbor kids will show up at the door.  We don't have a lot of kids but there are at least 6 or 7 that I talk to on a regular basis. 

I guess I better get to work!  Have a good day Everyfriend!  Do as you darn well please!
