Tom and I went out to lunch today, a weekly (at least) treat for us.  Then neither of us has to drum up something for that meal.  The cat and I have napped, but he can nap at the drop of a hat.

I can't say I have had any troubles after getting on, but I would like to delete what I have for weather.  It is very informative, but who else but me cares.  I want to get the Grand Haven/Lake Michigan link in but until I can delete the weather info, I can't put the link in.  I think others are more interested in Grand Haven, especially today, than my weather!

We are having snow now and we can hardly see over the pond.  When I went after the mail, it was a misty snow and I think that is still true.  I was able to wear a sweater when I crossed the road, but when we went out to eat, I wore my winter coat!  I'll also wear my winter coat to church tomorrow.  Our temperature has gone from 35 degrees to 32 degrees since this morning.  And they tell me this is April!  Who'd have guessed it.

Looking at the radar, it looks as if the snow is missing Amy and I certainly hope so.  But she probably is getting some cold temperatures.

Jeanne Lee--Thanks for the link.

Mary Ann--Go to your profile and delete that info.  Nice that you and Tom go out to lunch on Saturday.

Thank you Jeanne Lee. I am very glad.

Jeanne, I posted in the PSP folder by following your link here.

Apparently the link does not show on the index of the forum.
So not visible to anyone and they would not know it is open :(
I hope you can fix it!
Thanks

Kelly

Hi Mary Ann
You know what they say about snow, it is snow use  :)

Kelly

Mary Ann

Joan, when I right click on the entry, all sorts of things come up, but no Delete.  In another folder, I asked Rick Rammel if he could do something, so we'll see what happens.

It was so easy to copy what Rick had for the weather and I feel I should be able to delete it, but I can't.

Gee, thanks, Kelly!

Late afternoon here and sunshine, 57º.  Hard to believe they are predicting snow for Monday.

I'm thinking about what to prepare for supper.  Leaning toward spaghetti and meatballs.  The sauce and meatballs are all ready to go...just need to be heated up.

June, I'm not disgusted with the process...just with me!  One day I'll either figure it out or I won't.  I'm resigned!

Hi JaneS
The spaghetti and meatballs sounds delicious!

Kelly

so_P_bubble

Kelly. you just had tea  and biscuits elsewhere.  Watch it or you will put on weight. lol

Mary Ann

JaneS, if our weather heads your way, you will have snow!  It is a misty snow, but visibility is low; I can hardly see across our pond.  The temperature is going down too - 35 this am and 31 now.

Mary Ann

Amy

We had snow this morning and I thought it would put a damper on hanging out laundry but I waited and out the laundry went when it stopped snowing. Blew out nice and now it is back on the beds.Phoned daughter in love and told her that her bed is made up fresh for her next visit.

Larry, I wasn't paying close attention on the road and found the first wash out rough going over but you can bet I didn't go through the second one as it was huge!!!

Gloria, soon the ice on the lakes will be gone and the loons will be back home. I love listening to them at night. My son is going through Atlanta GA and wanted to let me know that the weather was beautiful...bless him  :smitten:

Jane that sounds like a good supper....garlic bread to go with it???

Kelly--:)

Mary Ann--I see Jeanne Lee told you how to do it.

Janie--I LOVE spaghetti and meatballs.  Is there some in the "hidey hole"?

Amy--Glad you were able to hang your clothes out despite the snow.  At least you didn't need to keep your date with the shovel.:)

Amy

Joan, no date with shovel or snowblower for a long time I hope! The rhubarb is peeking up and thankfully the snow didn't hurt it.
I want to make jam and pies out of it this year.

Joanie, there is some spaghetti and meatballs in the hidey hole except that the spaghetti is Kluski noodles....my preference.  I hope you all like them.  Help yourselves.  Amy brought the garlic bread.  Maybe someone could put some kind of pie in there for dessert?

Miserable day here. If my AC was in I would have had it running. Too warm and humid with the rain today. After midnight the cold front will come in and weather guesser said we will get 3 to 5 inches of snow. This has been predicted all week and all the guessers said no shovels would be needed. Time will tell.

JOAN  great that you finally can get groceries delivered. The service here will not charge if you but $100 or more. Under that it costs $5.95. I order about every 5 or 6 weeks and it is easy to order more than that $100. I send my helper to the market most every Friday for milk and some fresh produce. Cannot order that for a month. Felt great talking for the usual hour+ today. She did get on Skype a couple of times with her iPhone and walked around inside the house they have and outside.  My SIL did a great job on the kitchen cabinets he built. He measured everything, bought the lumber in San Diego and made everything there. Brought it to Arizona and every thing fit perfect. Then my daughter painted them white with a semi gloss paint. Looks great. They met 2 new neighbors this trip. You know I have enjoyed your morning goodies for many years now. Since I found SN and your Busy Nest. That was a busy place, too. I still have the collage Bunnie did of those who posted, there. 21 of us who posted every day. You, June, Jenny and me are the only ones from there.

JOY  those state boards back in SN were a lot of fun. I checked out all the different topics and discovered the PSP one and became fascinated, To think people could do those beautiful creations and animations on their home computers. I was still very new to the computer then. Bunnie talked me into trying the PSP and I thought no way. But between her and Joan I was encouraged to keep trying. I am not an artistic person so was surprised how much I enjoyed it.

GLORIA de  we had rain all day. Stopped a little while around 5pm but raining again. Ready for that snow? I am ready for some spring weather, not the wind and rain we have had for weeks now. When we lived around the corner from the fire department my 3 were already born. I think JL is getting too big and cannot keep track anymore. I had paid for 2 years and was credited for 1. Lot of email back and forth at that time. If I didn't love her cards I would just drop it.

BUBBLE  I have more tuts saved that I want to do and cannot get them to open. Started about a week ago. I think I will call HP and have them send a tech here to find out why. I did pay extra for that service so might as well get some use from it. I cannot get Windows Live mail installed either.  Everything comes in on my Incredimail or my gmail. I do have a few done. The Easter ones I did will wait till next year. I enjoy seeing you here in the SS.

CHIA  everyone in S&F is very helpful when someone is stuck. Ready for that white stuff tomorrow?

JEANNE  thank you, now Bubble and I can play again. It will take more than the 2 of us to fill it up.  You remember how to use PSP? Been a long time since you did anything there. Wish we could interest others in to trying it. Would not want to try the new versions though. Older ones are better.

Kelly  Fastry Mie. Hope you have a restful sleep and wake in the morning ready to meet the new day. Still raining here, too. Did not go outside at all today. Not ready to walk in the rain anymore.

MARY ANN  if my son had come today I would have had him put my AC in.  I know I will have trouble sleeping tonight even with the fan on and only the sheet for a cover. Too humid.

JANE  wish I had been here earlier. I would have been there for you spaghetti and meatballs. I would have stopped to pick up a bottle of Chianti and a loaf of Italian bread.

AMY  I sure would not want to be driving now with all roads beat up by the winter. Just locally the roads have patches on top of patches.  Oh boy, let me know when you start picking the rhubarb. I would like enough to make a pie or even a crisp.

Good Saturday evening toEVERYFRIEND.

This day just flew by for me.  Our youngest son is in town from Austin, TX to attend the funeral of his wife's grandmother.  He was only able to be here for a short time, but we did enjoy his visit....always do.

Thank you, Joan, for the goodies today....ðŸ'œ Anything blueberry!  I liked the quote from Jane Goodall.  While Brian was here this morning we were talking about how terrible our animals that we eat are treated, i.e. conditions they are raised in...hormones, etc.  My, we have sure taken on some might scary things and then wonder why we have so many with cancer.

It is a beautiful day here...nearly 70* and not a cloud in the beautiful blue sky.  We are to have nice weather now for several days....sure hope it is true.

Love many of the nice new avatars.....the Baby Phyllis....yours Hal, Larry, Gloria and all I have neglected to mention.  Good luck to all who are trying to get a picture posted.

BUBBLE, I am enjoying your frequent posts and hope that you will continue to join in here.  Concerned for you about the water leak, but realize you are doing your best to keep it from doing any more damage than possible.   I was chuckling a bit ago when reading your post and you saying, "The Sea of Galilee, and the Jordan".  These are names that I associate with from books, not everyday conversation. I feel so blessed to be able to communicate with others from distant lands.

LARRY, I agree with you that it sure would be nice if we could only pay for the channels that we want to watch.  We get so many channels that I will never watch....sometimes half the show is over by the time I scan through to figure out what I want to watch.

I am enjoying the spaghetti and meat balls, JANE, and hope you all found the peach cobbler that I brought to share and put in the hidy hole.

Sorry, CALLIE.  I just heard that Villanova beat your Sooners.  I was pulling for OK.

GLORIA, nice to read about the cabinets you sil made and how nice they looked after Regina painted them.  I am sorry the humidity is bothering you so much.  What a shame your complex did not install a/c also.  I suppose there is a time period that you can have the window a/c unit installed?  As strict as they are there you may not be able to install it until June....hope not.

Time for me to shut some windows before the sun goes down...SO PLEASANT DREAMS TO ALL.

So glad to see you all posting …good to be back in touch with friends.   It’s like beig lost, when you can’t get in touch.
I’ m having bad problems with one hand and the other is  starting to act up, so I may not say a lot, but I am reading and catching up on the news.  I missed you all.

I have a   Doctor’s appointment on Monday a week from next Monday., a  long time to wait.   Meanwhile, I ‘m looking in.

I can hardly use  one hand at all.  I only assume it is Artritus, I don’t know for sure.

Sun

Guess someone will have to tell me how to get photo from desktop  to S&F,,,no luck on my own.   HELP
