Lloyd--Like Gloria I will tell you NOT to overdo.

Good morning, Larry.  It's good to hear you are feeling better.  I heard on the news that Boston is to get dumped on again.  Hopefully Linda can get a flight out of Nashville today.

Good morning, almost noon. Sun is in and out, we did not get another snow storm last night, as the weatherman had said we would.  Suppose to have high winds again tomorrow and Sunday, also a sleet storm.Oh well it is Almost the middle of Feb.

Larry, I am glad you are feeling better. I just seem to have one good day, and the next is iffiey.

Joan, thanks as good readings and breakfast. Last night my good neighbor sent over Italian wedding soup, it was hot so I ate it right away/ Cathi, makes the best soups.

Gloria, If we have bad weather Tuesday, it will be the 4th time I have cancelled the foot doctor. starting with me being in the hospital last month. I still cannot get out my back door.

Linedancer--Cathi sure is a good neighbor.  I love Italian wedding soup.  Hopefully that sleet storm will bypass you.

Here, north of Albany, we again got only the edge of the storm - about 4 inches accumulation.  Enough to mess up driving, though, and another rescheduling of doctor appointments.   But the next one looks like we'll get more of it, starting later today and lasting until Monday.  Oh well.  I guess we're overdue.   :(  And with three appointments for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  SIGH!

Good Morning Everyone!

Gloria, it is a very reasonable price. I will try to get a list of what all that covers.  The one thing I am not too please with is the ease of using their web page(s).  But the tech that worked on my computer cleaned up everything and did it all in a few hours and the virus had did a number on me.  Stopped all my anti-virus and firewall protection, took away the ability to go to a restore my computer (I had no calendar or restore points).  Would not perform a scan on either anti-virus, would not update them or update my Microsoft software.  And a couple of other things.  I did manage to download Malwarebytes and run it, and it found a couple of threats but didn't clear anything up.  Anyhow, here is the link to their plans and shows what is covered. And cost.

Larry, I am very pleased with the work performed and look forward to using them to answer some questions.  I tried to find the chat this morning and didn't find it.  But I think they are in California and they may not be one line yet.  There is a 800 number for service.

Wrote a book, so I will get out of here.

CallieOK

Good afternoon,

When I woke up about 4:00 a.m. (for the usual reason), the moonlight was so bright that I thought I'd left the outside lights on.

Today is sunny and it's supposed to be at least 80º this afternoon.  Unbelievable in February - even for Oklahoma!

After a very busy week,  I'm having a "leisurely" day.

Hope Everyfriend Everywhere is having an Enjoyable Day.

JoanFL

Jeanne Lee--Maybe you should just reschedule those appointments for Spring.:)

halkel--If I didn't have this gentleman who works remotely on my computer for free, I'd look into the service you are using.

Callie--Many places have been having fickle weather, it seems.  I've been wondering where you were.

I am also missing Shirley.

Hello from a slowly going back to colder Interior! Well, as one of my old bosses at the Great Alaskan Bowl Company used to say, "This is why we don't have Gypsy moths, cockroaches, ticks, and many other nuisances up here!" The winters kill any remaining adult, nits or eggs. And we are thankful!

Farrah is busy watching the ravens swoop and dip and soar on the air currents outside in between chasing the little white ball around her big blue cylinder, generally her usual morning habits and here I am with another cup of coffee.

Shirley posted yesterday in the Photo slides and video group discussion folder. She is dealing with a nasty case of the flu, doing a lot of coughing and sleeping.

Joy

Hal, Thanks for the link to the computer help place that you made use of.   I have it saved, as I am not real happy with the local place that I have been using.   They charge $200 an hour, whether they are here for 10 min. 1/2 hour or the full hour.  I had them a couple months ago, and it only took the tech about 15 min.   He told me that he tried to get the price down, as he thought it  would not take long to fix what he did, but the boss said no.   It is a local place with only 2 guys.... the owner and a helper.  They built my new computer about a year ago because I didn't want Windows 10, so he was able to build it with Windows 7.  It cost me a little over $500, which I was ok with.  I will consider calling the place you used the next time.   There website said they were available all over the country.   Thanks again.

Hi Joan !!!   Have not been here for a couple days.  Just did not have much to talk about.  It is a pretty sunny day here today.  We were lucky the other day and didn't get much snow.

Have a great rest of this Saturday.

angelface--Lucky you not to have all those nasty bugs.  Thanks for the information about Shirley.

Joy--Yikes!!  $200 for a guru to come to your house is steep.  I always enjoy seeing your posts.

Good Afternoon Everyone from the snowy, rocky coast of Maine.

All is well here.      I have walked down the snowy sidewalks to CVS twice today,  just to make sure that I have enough sustenance to last me through the next storm.

Not too many people out,  but the drivers are
very respectful when I cross the streets today.    Everyone
seems to be looking out for everyone else,   as it should be.

All is well here.    Have a good day,  Everyone!

Good Afternoon all, I am dragging in late again. I am slow going in the morning now for some reason. I was awake at six, shortly after that, and then the time just seem to disappear.

There is an estate sale on the second floor at 3p.m. which is soon…so I will go down to investigate that. First one we have had here, and I understand the fellow was an excellent wood carver, so I am interested in seeing that.

Larry, I know that they frown on a lot of pain here, so I am happy to know there are meds available at all hours for that. They are very careful at the amount they allow us, and that is reassuring also.

Gloria de, I can't express enough how it pleases me to know you have such good, good neighbors watching over you. They truly are a Blessing.

Jeanne Lee,the weather is not being very kind to you, especially in messing up your appointments.

I am off to the sale……….
As long as we are here, let's dance.

Sorry I haven't stopped to comment with all going on, I don't sit at the computer very long & when I click a link that takes me to Photos I don't remember where I talk.  My brain is not working full time & the body really failing.  I eat a few bites and all of a sudden feel I'd better go lay down or drop.... and fall asleep.  Have not been this sick in my adult life & do hate to constantly whine.  My neighbor that finished her radiation is having the same symptoms so I'm thinking she probably picked up this flu during her 5 weeks of treatments 'cause I didn't have radiation to cause mine.  I am keeping up with reading but can't keep up with talking.  I can't resist a click to Photos so blame all the cute babies & sweet pups & wild & crazy shoes~~  Hopefully this will get better, at least I am not contagious so off to take my Sat night bath to go to church in the morning.  I did miss one Sunday but went in for X-ray to make sure I didn't have pneumonia before the next week end & told I couldn't pass it at that stage.  I am good for about an hour & then time for a nap.  This is NOT a good thing~

Lloyd Hammond

well I took all your advice and took a laze day several Naps. good Night sleep well, pleasant dreams. C U all tomorrow.

Enjoying some nice visits with my dad, and the beautiful mild temperatures.

Today is our oldest son's 48th Birthday.  We called to wish him a nice day and found out he was deeply involved with the packers that were there packing up their household goods. They have found a brand new home in Boston and will be moving before the end of the month.  I was in total shock.  We just heard less than a week ago they had put an offer on a home!  Things can really progress quickly when they are meant to be.

I wish you all a peaceful rest.

The sale was a bust. I came home and read and slept and slept and slept.

Had a light supper, went down for a program of Love songs of WW11. It was really fun. The entertainer is the same age as my oldest son, but he is a fan of the music of that era...we will surely have him back again.

One of the nurses just took my blood pressure...it was only 85. Either I am not well or her wrist machine is faulty. I feel fine, but a natural tiredness.

Since is is past eight o'clock, I will get cleaned up and go to bed and read some more. See you all after Church tomorrow. Hugs, Prayers and God's very best Blessings on us all. June

SHIRLEY...
...my thoughts are with you on your " flu like " recovery....

JENNY...
...wishing Happy Birthday to your boy, also wishing all goes to plan with his next move....I guess it would be nice to see all four boys settled in one place, instead of on the move so often...
