Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Well, still have to take that shower & wash my hair... been a whole string of phone calls... and I enjoyed every one of them so won't gripe.

Hal, I knew you just got a clip of what was going on so that's why I figured it might be the family making that decision... same happened with one of my brothers, his kids thought because he didn't go to church it didn't matter to him but I know it did.  He didn't go to any "group" meetings or join anything & since our dad didn't go to church it was sort of an excuse for him not to.  I was sorry his kids didn't understand him better but not my place to even hint I thought they were wrong. Good you mentioned it, I'd never heard of any church refusing & look what has come up to talk about!

Janie, we would certainly keep things buzzing if we lived near, huh?  Thanks.... and I am sorry that you had to deal with a Priest like that.... and think your ex was a "sorry" person as well (dumb, too, for letting you go).  The way I felt was I didn't ask my husband to change and would not have wanted him to ask me to change, but we agreed before we got married that I would take them to church (he didn't go).  I made sure the kids knew that he prayed as hard as I did in his own way & time, especially when they were sick.

I'm leaving up to the kids about my service, just want to know I'm in their thoughts at a Mass.... and don't say "no flowers" 'cause I love flowers , what they don't want to take home with them, they can sent them to a nursing home after I'm put away (my niche is paid for & urn holds all the necessary papers)...., and I want them to "feed everyone" on my dime, that joins them at the Mass.  They all have a lot of friends that would come for their sake, but most of mine, including family, don't travel any more.  I plan to hang on till I'm 120 so be a lot less by then.  That's my plans... have you ever known plans to follow through?   ;)

Better get that shower & some sleep, no nap today & not a lot of zzzzzzzzzzzzs last night.

One more oops! tonight.... I have a nice LED recessed light that comes at dark by the front door, 3 or 4 more under the eves come on at the same time.  My son put the new LEDs in after Cas died (supposed to last for years).... we've never found any switch for them so built in "dusk to dawn" lights..... and they didn't come on tonight!  Nary a one came on so NOT a bulb problem.  Wonder what next~~~ dum-de-dum-dum.......
