I love reading about all you folk's jobs and the amount you were paid.  Since I already told you about my first jobs, I'll refrain from any more rambling.

Janie--I got some candy from the hidey hole, and it is delicious.  Thank you.

I just discovered I was not in this morning...woe is me...a bad night of leg pain, and walking the halls, and not so good today either. I am on the antibiotic so hopefully it will kick in and do some healing. This too will pass, and I am thankful I am still operational...able to walk, talk, breathe, laugh and cry when touched in the heart.

I have really enjoyed just sitting back and reading what you all have done this day.

Hal, I pray the flood waters will cease before any danger arrives.

And I pray you all have a lovely evening. I hope to get in to say goodnight. Love you. June

As long as we are here, let's dance.

Had my Sat. night bath & thought I'd say "Hello & Good Night" before putting my clothes out for early church.  I am bone tired but just a few more hours working on the pool and another waltz around the yard to pick up the last of the leaves.... and I am winterized!!!   If I lower my eyebrows my eyes will close  .... hugs all around and God Bless.  Prayers for all in need.

You are lucky Hal. I had never forgotten that night when I was 15. I was sitting looking out over the birch trees in the lot next to the river. My dad had been out all evening with his river boat ferrying people to safety and my mom, sisters and I were bushed from getting the house ready and managing to help some of our neighbors find a place to sleep in our house. Luckily, the folks that built our house were Dutch and had brought in fill, so the waters never reached more than the basement.

I was sitting, looking out when I heard this odd sound. I looked up and saw this wall of water rise up and over these tall, old trees and crash down to the ground before spreading out to cover everything in sight. In amongst the water were oil drums, wooden steps, septic tanks, paint cans and other bits and miscellaneous stuff.

It was a view of nature I hadn't seen before and have never forgotten.

Hal, you chose well.

Tisie, I still need to write a check for Church. have more pills to take before I close my eyes. Thanks for the hugs…they are so welcome.

Now I will go write my check, then crawl  into bed and read for a bit, then take some more pills and off to dreamland.

Patricia, that was a horrible experience you had at 15 years of age. I am sure the scene will remain with you always. I'm glad that you were saved.

God's best Blessings be with you all this night. Peace, health, and Love. June

Good night Everyfriend.  I'm so tired tonight that even my "shoestrings are in".  May God bless us, every one!
