MaryPage

Oh Callie!  Please fix that up & be well!  You matter to me!  To all of us.  I am suffering the ravages of Forgettery Land, & do not look in very often any more, but your news shivers me.  YOU, I remember!  love & kisses from me.  I was MaryPage last I checked.

CallieOK

MaryPage, I'm so glad you remember me :-*
Do you remember you have a granddaughter who owns...or used to own...a business in the Oklahoma town where my family lives?

I'm feeling back to normal, whatever that means. ;) Son told me yesterday that "I looked like Mom again."  :smitten:

Enjoy your day, Everyfriend!

BarbStAubrey

I've learned it also matters if you are a earth whatever or metal whatever or a water whatever - for instance I'm a water rooster and therefore not, using my word, as obnoxious insisting on my way or the highway or as high and mighty cock of the yard but calmer and it suggests more diplomatic - whew -

Pigs...
- water pigs are known for being good communicators and responsible
- earth pigs are known for being well-grounded and lucky in social situations.
- Metal Pig is typically described as more ambitious, determined, and resilient, with a focus on quality of life and a preference for a relaxed lifestyle,.
- Wood Pigs are said to be as calm, but they're also easy to love and overcome difficulties with relative ease. Their relationships tend not to be filled with passion, remaining straightforward and earnest.
- Fire Pig is seen as more energetic, positive, and outgoing, often thriving in social situations and relying on strong connections with others

the year you are born lists the element of the animal

And I am an Earth Snake.  >:(
In the words of Indiana Jones,  "I hate snakes!"
Think I'll just stick with our common old calender that hangs on the wall and tells me the day/month/year and reminds me of appointments.

& my memory is so bad now, but I think she has moved.  And when Kiersten, my great granddaugghter, was still a toddler, she announced she wanted to be a pom.  Jump forward to now.  Her High School just won the State Championship.  And she was one of them!
Grreat celebrations.  Kiersten Smith.  Look 'er up!

CallieOK

MaryPage, the school that won the championship is the one your great granddaughter may go to! That's the same town your granddaughter has /had her business in. How exciting!

Barb, I would describe myself as a wood pig with a touch of water pig.

I agree with Phyllis - just look at the calendar and figure out what I should be doing...if anything!!

Just watched the start of the new season of The Voice. I'm amazed at what kind of voice the judges think is wonderful.
Sleep well, Everyfriend and have pleasantdreams  !

Ciaobella

Callie, I too watch The Voice, and I must say there were some pretty talented singers.  I love Kelsea Ballerini as a judge, she is so refreshing.  Oh, and who doesn't swoon for Michael Bublé?
Ciao for now~

Marilyne

I've never seen "The Voice", but have heard so much about it over the years, and  I know I could get easily hooked on it.  The last competition type show that we watched for many years, was "Dancing With the Stars".   Then they totally changed the format, and eliminated all the familiar faces, and we lost interest.  I don't think it's even on anymore, or is it?

I've lost track of most of the programs on Broadcast TV and also HGTV, the past couple of years.  We like the series shows on HBO, and also watch lots of movies on Amazon Prime, TCM and lots of the many news shows.  My husband is a hockey fan, so usually a Sharks game is on about three nights a week.

Ciaobella, I think you called yourself "A News Junkie"?  I'm also one, and have been for most of my life!  We still take the daily newspaper, watch many TV news shows, and I have lots of news sites on the computer that I check every day.
