Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Are you asking about the Zanzibar Spinach or the Water Plantain?

The answer is both. I remember seeing the seeds listed in the seed catalogs when I was into vegetable gardening. I even think I remember trying to grow it one year or at least thought about it. Some species of the Water Plantain are can be used for food; it is/was also used in Chinese and Native American medicine.
